After a long research and development, we proudly present Charlies Fine Chocolate, 65% Dark Chocolate bar.
Charlie's Chocolate makes his chocolate only with one Ecuadorian cacao farm, and one chocolate factory to control whole quality.
As we only use cacao with same fermentation and drying, you can enjoy the 100% of taste and aroma from one cacao bean.


Due to restrictive amount of production, we do not mix with other cacao beans from another farm.
As a result, you can enjoy the taste and aroma of one whole cacao bean.


PRODUCT INFO


Charlie's Fine Chocolate is a 50g chocolate bar which can divided into 6 pieces of 55mm*126mm.
Charlie's Fine Chocolate is just made by cacao mass, cacao butter and sugar, and does not contain any other additives.


Considering about the suitable thickness for consumer, Charlie's Fine Chocolate is made with own-produced 6mm mold.


We pack the chocolate in polyproylen to open it easily than thinfoil. So you easily can brake it to eat and it is not remain on your hands.


A paper packaging has suitable size to keep in a bag or pocket, weighing 60g. The back of the box has a brief description and Nutrition Facts level and raw material name.


CHARLIE'S CHOCOLATE STORY


ONE FARM

Charlie's Fine Chocolate, named after the farmer, uses one and only beans from one specific farm, located in Ecuador Guayaquil, the equator, one of the origin of cacao and is a good place to produce a fine flavor cacao 'Arriba'.


Charlie's Fine Chocolate is a product based on the characteristics of Arriba fine flavor, a local ecuadorian cacao. Arriba bean has a less bitter-taste and is well-known for its strong fruity and floral aroma, which produces only about 5% of the world's cacao production. So it is mainly used to make Gourmet chocolate.

ONE CHOCOLATE

Charlie's Chocolate has been studying the golden ratio to be able to enjoy the sweet taste of cacao happily. As a result, we found that 65% of dark chocolate is the best rate that can satisfy both the flavor, sweetness and scent of our cacao beans.

Cacao is not only rich in varieties, but also tastes different depending on the environment, such as soil and weather, and the hands of harvesters. It is no easy task to produce large quantities of cacao berries that require all-hand harvesting.
Charlie's Chocolates have been to Latin America in search of a farm that can produce good quality cacao in large quantities. As a result, we found a reliable cacao on a single-cultivated farm. We put the same pride of our farmers on cacao quality into chocolate.

Most chocolate producers make annual contracts from many peasants and take their beans separately. However, those beans are cultivated separately by different farmers, fermented and dried in different ways. When they blend these cacao beans, the flavor and aroma of the cacao bean will be mixed and lose pure flavor. So they put vanilla beans or synthetic flavors to standardize the flavor of each brand of chocolate.
Charlie's Fine Chocolate does not require any synthetic additives. We do not need any vanilla beans. We've selected beans cultivated and fermented only during the same day. After rigid tasting, we roasted for the set temperature and time, and extracted the best cacao mass.

As the wine varies in flavor from grape, so does with chocolate and cacao. Cacao. Cacao bean with a tough and earthy flavor, tends to have a rubber-like texture when sugar content is low, so it is used mainly as a raw material for dark chocolate of about 50%. Meanwhile Arriba is famous for its weak bitter-taste, floral scent and fruit flavor.
As a result of careful tasting with our chocolatiers, we decided to produce a total amount of cacao as 65% dark chocolate. Charlie's Fine Chocolate is made by special golden ratio to enjoy original flavor and sweet taste of cacao, and also get health benefits.

Making a direct contract with the cacao farm and chocolate factory, we were able to buy the cacao beans, develop and produce chocolate without unnecessary expense.
Now Charlie's chocolate is providing a chocolate with reasonable price to customers minimizing unnecessary cost.

While the efficacy and benefits of cacao beans and dark chocolate have presented many times in Korea, but it was very difficult to find a delicious and healthy chocolate brand. After 1 year of study about the cacao and chocolate, Charlie's chocolate is now launching its brand.

MORE ABOUT CHOCOLATE


Because high quality chocolate can be melted just by body temperature, you can enjoy our product's taste with a very clean after taste.



Although Korean Food Standard Codex stipulates chocolate as a food that contains more than 20% cacao content, it does not divide separately dark chocolate. According to the Codex Alimentarius International Food Standard of the Codex Alimentarius Commission that is operated by the World Health Organization (WHO), dark chocolate is defined as what contains at least 35% of cacao solids, 18% of cacao butter. So we can find a lot of dark chocolate from 54% of cacao content.
To make Charlie's Fine Chocolate, we considered what maintains the original taste of the cacao. There is not any right answer of the cacao content of dark chocolate just like wine, but we are using well selected cacaos and the best recipe to produce our chocolate. We hope you enjoy the best dark chocolate which we provide.

PRECAUTION

THERE'S NO LECITHIN

Lecithin is an extracted additive from soybeans or sunflower seeds and is used as an emulsifier to help a chocolate to be mixed well with other proteins. Charlie's Chocolate did not put anything other than cacao and sugar, so you can enjoy the pure taste and aroma of cacao. It is because the characteristic flavor of Lecithin can cover the scent of cacao. However, it may be difficult if you want to reshape it again after it is molded, please note this point.

Please keep in a cool place with no direct sunlight. Charlie's Fine Chocolate could be melted at lower temperature due to high content of cacao mass.

Charlie's Chocolate conducts the ice package delivery regardless of requests to maintain products quality. If you recieved the faulty item, please let us know before recieving date has passed. Then you can get right return / exchange service.

- Free delivery service will be available when your purchase is higher than USD30, and the other cases you have to pay delivery fee of 3,000 Won (5,000 Won when Ice packing service is needed)
- The delivery service will take 7~10 days from the release date
- Items may be returned or exchanged only within one week of receipt.
